SDDS: Reunion 8/21/07

Hello..
I wanted to share with you about SDDS reunion that 6 of us met at Tourmaline Surf Park. We had great talks about our experiences in surfing for many years. We just realized that we have surfed with 2 or 3 of us at the same time until we all met at the reunion at once! We are appreciated with ourselves in the surfing culture that we went through difficult times in the hearing world in the past. Several years later, we got more comfortable with the surfing culture by having friends to give us support and feedbacks. Now we do have more knowledge about surfing culture that we could share our experiences with anyone.
We would like to share our experiences to the youth deaf surfers. Are you ready to join us?

Nice to see you again, Jon.
Very cool! I loved the video effects of the black and white freeze frame you added.
It would be neat to see you vlog about some of the "surfing rules" and behaviors deaf surfers encounter with hearing surfers and what you do about clashes or conflicts.
People are interested and you've now established yourself as an expert. ;)

Jon,
I read your blog from time to time. Was really nice to see Reed in there! He was my teacher at NTID (2001) and I certainly caused some trouble in his classes, like playing music loud while he was teaching!
Now i'm totally involved in music!
That's really awesome to have a group of people who share the same passion for surfing!!!
I'll be watching
